Upcycled custom sofa chair, Commissioned project (March 2022)
A first for me! Worked on a custom upholstery piece for the one and only @skl0_ ✨
-
For this project, I decided to piece together leftover scrap canvas I have accumulated over the years. Including details like corduroy and zig-zag stitches on some of the parts for different textures.
-
My favorite part from all of this are the curvy elements I decided to put! As my gf said they look like tamagos 🍳
-
Swipe on for more details! Thank you @skl0_ for this chance to work on something I have been wanting to all this while. Would do it all over again! Enjoyed the entire process.

Personal project, custom carpenter pants. (July 2020)
Carpenter pants BUT make it adidas. Hahaha mainly did this... for the fun of it. Might/might not delete but whatever. Swipe for details!
-
My reinterpretation on the @adidasoriginals Firebird track pants. Taking cues from the stripes on the Superstars, mainly the “zig-zag” detail. Individually cut with a pinking shear from canvas. Liking the fraying detail on the stripes. Also adding the side zippers at the ends just like the original track pants.
-
All canvas with carpenter pant details- Hammer loop, extra pockets everything.
-
Hello adidas am here if you wanna do anything (pls no cease and desist)

Media Feature, for Tell Your Children (@tellyourchildren), OPEN STUDIOS #tycopenstudios. (July 2020)
Full interview/Q&A here.
-
Did a quick interview/Q&A with @tellyourchildren in one of their latest #tycopenstudios features!!! Am pretty ecstatic!!!
-
Also, they requested me to make my own rendition of their logo so..... I made a bag. Hahah each letters are cut and sewn individually. A lil bit of zig-zag stitchings on a couple of letters and as the outline of the logo. White canvas on natural. Tote bag is reconstructed from smaller pieces of canvas off-cuts hence the paneling detail.
-
Swipe to see an alternate version, work in progress and of course... my studio in Animal Crossing (if anyone wants to visit lemme know!!!) heh
-
Thanks again to the kind folks of @tellyourchildren and everyone for reading through. ✨
Personal project, Carpenter pants (May 2020)
Why only stop at one??? When I can make another. Hahah this one is just because I want a pair of white painters/carpenter pants for myself... finally.
-
However wasn’t quite pleased with the waist fit on this... still wearable at least.
-
Went for a mix of white and beige canvas for this pair.
-
Alright that’s is all.... for now. I could have made a mix of more colours/panels but for right now, I just want to make what I would wear now. Mainly these 2 colours- black and white. I’m glad I took this time to do what I find intimidating at first, to something I think I find it enjoyable. Seeing the entire process from scraps to something I could wear out is kinda amazing.
-
Till the next one!!!
RECONSTRUCTED #6 (Repurposing/Upcycling Project) (May 2020)
I made pants! Because I want to. One of my fav styles, carpenter pants with double knee details.
-
I first attempted at making a pair of pants back in 2014. A promise I made myself before I go for my enlistment. To at least make something for myself..... and it wasn’t that great. BUT I was pretty happy for myself at that time because I managed to make something wearable with zero knowledge in making clothes.
-
Fast forward today... I’m still very unsure at making patterns from scratch but I somehow understand the inner workings of the pants. And I’m finally able to make a proper pair for myself!
-
Given the situation right now, I had to make do with what I currently have. This pair is pieced together from black canvas scraps hence the panels. Love the look of it though.
-
This still isn’t perfect! I managed to make a pattern out of a fav pair of pants and alter it to my liking. Carpenter pants are my fav for a long time. So happy I can make them for myself now.
RECONSTRUCTED #5 (Repurposing/Upcycling Project) (May 2020)
Reconstructed 2 pairs of Dickies FLEX Loose Fit Double Knee Pants into a kimono style outerwear. Incorporating the different elements from the pockets down to the belt loops. Waist band detail from the pants reworked as the collar of the kimono, retaining the inner graphics of the band. Opted for a different layout this time. Utilizing the original side pockets from the pants and reworking it as the front pockets for the kimono. An additional back pocket to stash small stuff.
Reworked the back pockets to the front of the kimono. Also included the phone slot pocket on the side of the kimono.
